About The Role

Are you an Infrastructure Engineer ready for your next challenge? In this role, you'll provide technical support across a range of internal systems, working to agreed quality standards and SLAs.



The role is based on a Hybrid pattern with a minimum of one day per week in the office.

Core Duties

Install, configure, and support servers and management platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V Document technical specifications and reports Support infrastructure projects through capacity planning and design Share knowledge across teams and support project activities Provide BAU and out-of-hours support to the business

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support a varied server/network estate Monitor systems, resolve issues, and ensure infrastructure integrity Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity problems Perform routine maintenance (e.g. backups, patching, hotfixes) Recommend and implement solutions to optimize performance Work on multiple concurrent systems and project initiatives

About You

You'll bring relevant experience from a similar role, ideally within the equipment rental or construction industry. You're calm under pressure, a strong communicator, and a team player with a proactive mindset.

Skills & Experience

Strong communication and customer relationship skills Advanced troubleshooting across Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange and hypervisor platforms Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure and M365 Excellent organisation and time management Methodical approach with attention to detail Ability to interpret technical issues from non-technical descriptions Operational IT support experience in a multi-site, complex network environment Full UK driving licence
