Summary
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our infrastructure, managing and enhancing systems across multiple sites, and delivering high-level technical support. You will assist the Group IT Manager in maintaining core services and take ownership of specific projects, including the selection and implementation of a new IT service management (ITSM) tool.
You will also be instrumental in mentoring a junior team member once hired.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
2nd and 3rd line support
across a range of hardware, software, and services. Initially you will be expected to support with 1st line queries until a junior position is filled.
Support and manage
multi-site infrastructure
, including switches, firewalls, and connectivity
Administer and support the
Microsoft 365 ecosystem
, including
Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint
, and
Exchange Online
Manage and maintain
Windows Server environments
, including
Active Directory

DHCP
, and
Group Policy
Support and manage
network hardware

Ubiquiti, OPNsense
, and legacy
Draytek
equipment
Support bespoke car
dealership software
used by Hyundai, Skoda, MG, Suzuki
Assist with the
management of iPads
across the business, including deployment and policy management
Lead the
replacement of our existing ITSM/ticketing system
with a modern solution
Provide guidance and assist in the
onboarding and training of a future junior IT team member
Administer
Barracuda email filtering
and ensure robust email security
Maintain documentation and ensure systems and procedures meet operational standards and security best practices
Key Requirements
3 years proven experience in a
multi-site IT support
environment
Strong technical experience with:
Microsoft 365
(Entra/Intune/SharePoint)
Windows Server

Active Directory

DHCP
Network devices
, particularly
Ubiquiti

OPNsense

Draytek
Barracuda
or similar email filtering/security solutions
Excellent communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
