We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to join a forward-thinking team within the Energy & Natural Resources industry. This role, based in Abingdon, requires expertise in maintaining and optimising IT infrastructure to support business operations effectively.

• Maintain and support IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor systems and networks to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Implement and manage software and hardware upgrades as required.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
• Document and update IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Manage backup systems and disaster recovery plans effectively.
• Support the deployment of new infrastructure projects and initiatives.

5 days onsite Immingham18 month FTC
A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting hardware and software systems.
• Proficiency in relevant IT tools and technologies.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges.
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
