About The Role




We at PEI Group are looking for a IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our welcoming, diverse, and growing team based here in London. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Head of IT in administering, managing and developing the company's IT systems, and working on global IT projects with technical support to PEI staff as required. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will strive to ensure seamless and secure operation of IT systems, hardware, and software across the global PEI network





PEI operates a fully cloud-based IT environment, primarily leveraging Microsoft technologies. The on-premises IT footprint consists of networking and ISP equipment in its two main offices. With a global presence, PEI's IT team provides comprehensive support across all regions.



Your main responsibilities will include:



User account and mailbox management using M365, MS Entra ID and MS Exchange OL User provisioning and sign-on policy creation within MS Entra ID and MS Azure, using Enterprise Apps, App Registration, SSO and SCIM. Tenant, user, mailbox and endpoint security using MS Log Analytics, MS Sentinel, MS Email Filtering, MS Defender and MS Defender for Endpoint. Networking and infrastructure + Assist with network connectivity issues, including troubleshooting structured cabling.
+ Support office network changes and upgrades as needed.
+ WiFi AP and SSID monitoring and management.
Hardware and Software Management + Maintain, troubleshoot, and support office A/V equipment and meeting room technology.
+ Manage and support office print devices and other hardware assets.
End-User Support + Provide technical support in-person and remotely to resolve IT-related issues promptly.
+ Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring timely responses and resolutions
Vendor and Partner Collaboration + Liaise with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for escalated technical support.
+ Manage relationships with IT suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.
Project Involvement + Implement and manage global IT projects e.g. deployments, updates, and other initiatives.
+ System monitoring and health checks across all IT systems

About You



Requirements




Essential Qualifications & Experience:





Three years minimum experience across:
M365 - User and licence management MS Entra ID - User management and monitoring. MS Azure - User provisioning and sign-on policy creation using Enterprise Apps, App Registration, SSO and SCIM. MS Security Tools - MS Log Analytics, MS Sentinel, MS Email Protection, MS Defender, MS Defender for Endpoint. Windows 10/11 support Hardware troubleshooting expertise - laptops, printers, A/V meeting room equipment. A good knowledge of networking protocols, hardware and structured cabling.

Desired Skills & Experience





Support and management of third-party SaaS systems in use by PEI e.g. + Zoom (Meetings, Rooms and Phone)

+ Abnormal Security
MacOS support Creating documentation on resolving common issues and general administration to help team members.
