We're flexible, inclusive, committed to your wellbeing and passionate about you reaching your potential. Let's grow together ...
What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day availability, stability, performance, and security of core Infrastructure services (servers, storage, virtualisation, cloud, backup), ensuring BAU operations run seamlessly and consistently meet service expectations.
  • Act as the key escalation point for infrastructure incidents and problems, taking proactive ownership of issues as and when required, restoring service quickly, driving robust root-cause analysis, and ensuring clear communication to stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate closely with other technical team, architects, project managers, and third-party partners to align roadmaps, releases, lifecycle management, and service priorities - operating as part of a unified "one team" approach.
  • Build, lead, and develop the infrastructure support team, through setting clear goals and personal development plans (PDPs), regular 121s and skills assessment. Mentor and coach engineers, support certifications and knowledge sharing, and manage onboarding, resource planning, and succession to sustain a high-performing, customer-focused team.
  • Evolve support processes, documentation, monitoring, and alerting, using operational data, service metrics, and trend analysis to drive targeted improvements and uplift operational maturity across the infrastructure estate.
  • Balance risk, resilience, cost, and business value in technical decision-making, contributing to and managing technology roadmaps for all non-networking platforms and continuously modernising systems to ensure they remain efficient, secure, and future-ready.
