About this opportunity

As a function we genuinely encourage our employees to challenge and innovate as we modernise our traditional IT environments towards our Private and Public Cloud platforms.

Our aim is to maximise customer experience, service and security and in so doing, assure our leading position in the provision of Banking and Financial Services across the UK.

Working collaboratively to guide, challenge and support on all infrastructure-currency matters, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help assure the successful delivery of our technology modernisation agenda against internal and regulatory requirements.

We\'re investing in our dedicated Distributed Infrastructure Services team where you can play to your strengths in maintaining stakeholder relationships, ensuring opportunities are considered, successes are communicated and any risks to delivery are highlighted and addressed.

Because, as the Group develops its sophisticated hybrid Cloud approach our role in Distributed Infrastructure becomes even more vital.

And your mission?

To be the join between Change and Service teams in a way that ensures modernisation work is prioritised and delivered with our customers at heart.

There are many streams to the modernisation programme as it moves workloads from legacy to modern technologies.

You\'ll coordinate across an assigned portfolio, working with Project and Service managers alike. Together we\'ll ensure the end goal is met and met in a manner which achieves the best outcome. You\'ll assist with the inevitable competing demands, ensuring the implications of decisions are properly considered and accounted for.

You\'ll track progress and assumptions and highlight any delays and disparities before they inhibit progress.

You\'ll get the autonomy to handle your own workload - delivering quality pieces of work to set timescales and setting objectives as required.

What you\'ll be focussing on:

  • Tracking and reviewing progress against plans and results
  • Communicating between interested parties and ensuring appropriate levels of engagement
