JOB TITLE IT Manager

SHIFTS

Monday - Friday 39 hours per week

SALARY

50,000 to 70,000 (depending on skills and experience)

BASE

Hybrid/Remote working

GBA Global Solutions provides 24/7/365 UK national and global coverage from two main control centres and two hubs, focussed on domestic and European aerospace & airside logistics services (branded as 'GBA Skyway'), and global forwarding.





GBA Global Solutions is part of the GBA Logistics group, which has been delivering logistics solutions since 1987 and are a leading family-owned logistics company, operating in the top 50 Logistics Companies in the UK with annual turnover in excess of 100m.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic planning - develop the IT roadmap and strategy for the business Operations management - identify, manage and develop the IT infrastructure, networks, hardware and software requirements of the business. Security and risk management - ensure that strong cybersecurity, data protection and disaster recovery protocols are in place and their compliance is observed. Budget and vendor management - manage the IT budget and the core vendor relationships Project management - successfully lead all I.T. projects, systems implementations and technology rollouts. Communication - manage key stakeholder relationships effectively, working across the business to ensure I.T. is effective and enhances the business operation.

Relevant technical qualifications, skills and experience Leadership and management skills and experience Proven track record in successfully leading and managing projects Effective team player Can-do attitude 5 Year checkable employment history (no gaps in employment above 28 consecutive days) Right to work in UK & no disqualifying convictions for working airside
