We are now looking to expand our IT team with the addition of a skilled and motivated IT Manager. This key role involves overseeing and developing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our systems, and supporting cross-departmental technology initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with project management capabilities and a collaborative mindset. Working closely with various departments, you will play a central role in driving innovation, supporting business objectives, and maintaining our position as a technology-led industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Network and Infrastructure Management:
Manage and configure the company's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.
Oversee the management and maintenance of network devices, VPN solutions, and hardware. Ensure stability and seamless connectivity across all systems.
Technical Support and System Maintenance:
Provide IT support to end-users, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues on Windows 10/11 and other platforms.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance for servers, clients, and software applications, including the MIS system.
Troubleshoot security issues and work with the central team to implement security policies and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Project Management:
Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Coordinate with various departments to drive innovation and ensure smooth execution of IT initiatives.
Assist in the deployment and integration of new IT systems, such as cloud portals, disaster recovery solutions, and process automation tools.
Cybersecurity and Disaster Recovery:
Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, including regular security assessments, monitoring for threats, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure the resilience and security of the company's IT infrastructure.
System Integration and Automation:
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of IT systems and software, focusing on enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Drive process automation initiatives to improve product quality and business performance.
Cross-Department Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with various departments to understand their technical needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for systems, troubleshooting procedures, and hardware/software assets.
Provide training to staff on system usage, security best practices, and common technical issues.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
Engage with suppliers and external partners to gather requirements, align expectations, and ensure the successful implementation of IT projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
IT, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Manager, IT Support Manager, or in a similar role, ideally in the manufacturing or similar industries.
Strong technical knowledge of networking, security, system administration, and cloud computing platforms.
Experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, iOS and Linux hardware configurations, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity practices, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection regulations.
Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to evolving business needs.
