Our Application Support Team's mission is to deliver a stable production environment for our investment professionals to safely grow their businesses while quickly responding to and remediating system outages and client needs. What you'll do
Lead the build out of the Macro trading application support function to provide technical support to our investment professionals
Act as a key escalation point for application incident management, leading communications with end-users and senior technology stakeholders on the progress and status of incident resolution
Communicate with end-users and senior technology stakeholders throughout incidents
Provide cross training for the wider Trading Application Support team and ensure that documentation is maintained
Design and implement robust processes for Macro investment professional application onboarding, including initial setup, access management and user limits administration
Implement and regularly review processes, procedures, and policies, and introduce automation to improve team consistency and performance
Collaborate with users and technology teams to create project plans
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, including reporting team metrics related to incident and request handling

What's required
7+ years of application support experience within the financial services industry Experience with SQL and other scripting languages
Experience working with Unix
Prior experience in a team lead or senior role, demonstrating ability to mentor individuals with varying levels of experience
Experience managing major outage communications and proven ability to resolve client issues
Ability to deliver incident resolution for clients
Strong understanding of order management workflows
