We're looking for an

experienced and detail-oriented IT Operations Specialist

to join our growing IT team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex systems, data integrations, and application performance.

The Role

As an

IT Operations Specialist

, you will oversee and optimise Connected Group's internal IT systems, focusing on

Microsoft Power Platform

,

Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations and CRM)

, and

Azure data solutions

.

You'll work closely with our managed service provider (MSP) and internal stakeholders to maintain performance, ensure system reliability, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you'll play a key role in supporting our technology ecosystem, collaborating with technical and non-technical teams alike to ensure our systems evolve in line with business needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesPower Platform Management

Develop, deploy, and maintain applications and workflows using

Power Apps

,

Power Automate

, and

Power BI

. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise Power Platform solutions for performance and reliability. Support end users through technical training and documentation. Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across all environments.

Dynamics 365 (CRM and Finance & Operations)

Administer user access and configurations within Dynamics 365, in collaboration with the MSP. Work with business teams to scope, develop, and deploy enhancements or integrations. Support data reporting and dashboard creation to inform strategic decisions. Ensure data security and compliance within the Dynamics environment.

Azure Data Factory & SQL Support

Support and optimise

Azure SQL databases

and collaborate on automation and data consolidation initiatives. Help stakeholders develop data solutions leveraging APIs, Dataverse, SQL, and other sources. Configure and maintain

Azure Data Factory

pipelines for data processing and integration. Uphold high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and security.

IT Operations & Support

Monitor the organisation's application landscape to ensure uptime and reliability. Collaborate across teams to deliver IT projects and continuous improvements. Identify and resolve system issues promptly. Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide data security advice on integrations and Power Platform applications.

About You

Essential Experience:

Strong background working with

Microsoft Power Platform

(Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Hands-on experience with

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

and CRM. Proven experience in

IT operations

,

application support

, or

system administration

roles. Good understanding of

Azure

,

SQL

, and

data warehousing principles

. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving across systems. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with

Azure Data Factory

,

ETL processes

, or

SSIS

. Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.). ITIL framework knowledge or certifications. Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Dynamics 365.

Personal Attributes:

Analytical thinker with a strong attention to detail. Proactive and solutions-focused with a collaborative mindset. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
