Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking, software troubleshooting, and technical support. This candidate will oversee and optimise our enterprise solutions for clients. Reporting directly to the Director, this role is pivotal for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our technical solution deployments and systems integration while managing freelance technical resources.

Duties

Maintaining and monitoring servers, networks, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Implementing IT policies, security protocols, and system upgrades. Managing and coordinating freelance IT professionals to ensure timely, quality task execution. Deploying Windows and Linux servers and Docker/Kubernetes containers in the cloud (AWS & Azure) that meets customer's requirement for live applications. Troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting automation initiatives. Planning and executing comprehensive software testing, including functional, regression, and user-acceptance testing. Participating in onboarding new customers tenants to cloud and confirming SAAS protection backup status alerts and notification ensuring timely resolution where required. Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and validating security and performance requirements.

Experience

Proven experience in IT operations, systems administration, database management, or infrastructure engineering. Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing external contractors. A degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Understanding of software development, AI, and Machine Learning. Familiarity with testing tools and attention to detail.

Pay: 34,000.00-37,000.00 per year
