Responsibilities
Review and analyze system specifications, business requirements, and technical documentation.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and/or automated).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on web and/or mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Work closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and suggest process improvements.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings as part of the Agile/Scrum team.
Ensure software compliance with company and industry standards.
Provide detailed reports on testing activities and results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Familiarity with Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge of defect tracking and bug life cycle
Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
