We are seeking an experienced IT Payroll Systems Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and payroll processes, with a strong ability to collaborate across multiple departments to deliver innovative solutions.

As the IT Payroll Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting IT and Payroll teams during major contract mobilisations and organisational transformation initiatives. You will act as a technology partner, ensuring smooth implementation of payroll solutions and compliance with governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an IT functional partner to Payroll and other stakeholders, focusing on technology solutions and best practices.
- Collaborate with outsourced payroll providers and internal system administrators from a technology perspective.
- Work closely with IT colleagues and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of end-to-end solutions.
- Assist with mobilisation and ongoing support for major contracts, including large-scale staff transitions.
- Contribute to change and transformation programs, including enhancements to automated workflows and preparation for new HR systems.
- Ensure robust IT controls and support internal and external audits.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience working with payroll technology solutions and processes.
- Background in IT partnering roles within large, complex organisations.
- Knowledge of IT General Controls, governance, and data management principles.
- Familiarity with GDPR and data governance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
