We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Procurement Coordinator & IT support to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in procurement and logistics within the construction industry and be confident using IT systems to streamline operations.
This role requires both administrative and technical skills to support site teams and the procurement department in ensuring materials and equipment are sourced, ordered, and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and raising purchase orders.
Track and coordinate deliveries to multiple project sites.
Liaise with site managers, foremen and subcontractors to confirm material requirements and timelines.
Maintain and update procurement records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Use MS Office, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 tools to create reports, manage documents, and communicate with stakeholders.
Support in setting up small IT networks at construction sites, including configuring shared drives, basic hardware installation, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Monitor inventory levels and help manage stock in line with project schedules.
Assist with supplier onboarding and maintaining preferred supplier lists.
Contribute to improving procurement processes and workflows.
Where applicable, use construction management software (e.g., Plenergy, Buildertrend) to log orders, track budgets, and update progress.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Minimum A-levels or equivalent; degree in Business, Construction Management, Logistics, or related field preferred but not essential.
Experience: Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, ideally in a construction environment.
IT Proficiency:
MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin (user accounts, file sharing, permissions).
Basic knowledge of setting up and maintaining small networks for site offices.
Software Skills (Desirable): Experience with Plenergy, Buildertrend (we also provide training), or similar construction project management platforms.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
