IT Product Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
The role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Product Manager to join our dynamically evolving team. The successful candidate will manage the agile and product-oriented transformation of our corporate IT infrastructure and IT service teams. This role is pivotal in driving our teams to adopt modern methodologies and frameworks, prioritize their roadmaps, and ensure seamless delivery of IT services, all while treating internal employees as valued customers. IT Product Manager will be responsible for setting and prioritizing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and aligning these with the key business stakeholders.
What you'll be doing

• Product manage our IT Infrastructure and Helpdesk Teams: Manage the ownership and monitoring of the products and service owned by the team through use of the objectives and KPIs you will define

• Adopt Agile Methodologies: Transform the teams to work with agile methodologies, focusing on roadmaps, prioritization, and continuous improvement.

• Roadmap and Requirements Management: Work with internal stakeholders to understand their roadmaps, requirements, and priorities. Maintain a backlog of improvements for your area, clearly describing how they support our overall business goals

• OKRs Setting and Prioritization: Establish and prioritize Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the IT teams, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and driving accountability.

• Business cases: Create and validate business cases that underpin the product/initiative, with clear definition of opportunity, costs, and benefit. Initiate and/or undertake any analysis to highlight any impacts to systems or business processes

• Drive Cloud Migration: Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to guide and support the migration of in-house systems to a modern, cloud-based setup.

• Implement Modern Service Framework: Lead the IT Helpdesk team in adopting a customer-centric approach, treating internal employees as customers and enhancing service delivery.

• Delivery Management: Balance product management with delivery responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Team Transformation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the teams, encouraging the adoption of best practices and new technologies.

• Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular reports on the progress, status, and performance of the IT OKRs, KPIs and value delivery.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in IT product management, working with internal IT teams and business stakeholders

• Experience with agile methodologies, road mapping, and prioritization.

• Familiarity with IT Helpdesk operations and customer-centric service delivery.

• Working understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and modern service frameworks.

Tooling and Technologies:

• Implementing and adopting product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

• Agile project management tools and practices.

• Service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

What you'll bring to the role

• A proven track record in IT product management.

• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and modern service frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and transform IT teams to adopt new ways of working.

• Proven delivery management skills with the ability to balance product and delivery responsibilities.

• Proven experience in setting and prioritizing OKRs to align with strategic goals.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and service management best practices.

• Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric service delivery.
