We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join our team here at Formula 1 based at our Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill. As IT Project Manager you will manage delivery of technology projects from initiation through to closure.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the management of assigned project(s) in line with the F1 Project Management Process Framework Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations. Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding. Collaborate with external partners and service providers to ensure that project deliverables are met. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that may arise to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

Specification EssentialsTrained in Project Management Methodology (Agile, Prince2, PMP, APM, MSP or other) 3-5 years' experience managing IT projects Experience of managing budgets, project forecasting and dealing with suppliers, contractors and other third parties Proven track record of end-to-end IT project management delivery Experience managing concurrent projects of varying scale and complexity Good understanding of software development lifecycle Strong stakeholder management and issue management skills
