Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee and manage various technology projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies and have experience with cloud computing and enterprise software. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex IT infrastructure environments. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and Kanban to manage project lifecycles effectively. Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, TFS, or VersionOne to track progress and manage resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct analysis, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT). Oversee the execution of test cases and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices including test-driven development. Manage project risks and issues while implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate project status updates to stakeholders using effective negotiation and organizational skills. Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and disaster recovery protocols throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain documentation in SharePoint and utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting and presentations.

Experience

Proven experience in IT project management with a strong understanding of software development processes. Familiarity with databases such as SQL and Oracle is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency. Strong analytical skills with a focus on requirements gathering and project implementation strategies. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management software tools like Jira, Visio, and other relevant applications is essential. Leadership experience in guiding teams through complex projects while fostering collaboration and innovation.
