Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure product quality and reliability. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify issues early in the development lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases. Review business and technical requirements to create detailed test scenarios. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla). Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve software defects. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or Cypress. Ensure compliance with project quality standards and best practices. Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and release validation results. Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing processes. Participate in quality reviews and provide input to improve product and process quality.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in software testing and QA processes. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar). Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.). Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development environments.
