native has been building for 10 years, but we're still very much a startup: fast-moving, ambitious, and building with intent. We're creating the infrastructure that connects students, Students' Unions, universities, and advertisers through a managed marketplace.
Our goal is to deliver for students by increasing student engagement while enabling Students' Unions to secure sustainable funding. For advertisers, we offer meaningful, measurable routes to student audiences. The more aligned these incentives are, the more defensible and scalable our business becomes.
The Opportunity:
We're looking for a smart, practical IT & RevOps Lead to run Tech Nexus - native's integrated function covering IT, revenue operations, application support, and IT-related training. Tech Nexus provides Level 1 and Level 2 support across internal teams, end-users, and our Students' Union partners, and is responsible for developing L0 solutions, including our existing knowledge base.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable working hands-on in a small, focused team (around three people, including you). You'll enjoy directly tackling operational challenges, even in situations that aren't completely clear. You'll bring practical experience of Salesforce (ideally as a Salesforce Admin), HubSpot, Google Workspace administration, and Microsoft 365 administration.
You'll also manage key aspects of information security, helping native achieve Cyber Essentials Plus certification and supporting our ongoing journey towards ISO accreditation. Relevant InfoSec certifications or experience would be helpful, but we're equally open to someone who's capable and keen to learn.
What you'll be doing:
We are committed to building the ecosystem for students, Students' Unions, and advertisers, and this role is critical to our chances of success. In particular, you'll spend much of your time on the following:
Managing and optimising Salesforce and HubSpot, making sure they're closely aligned with revenue and operational processes
Administration and oversight of our Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring efficient and secure operations
Handling general IT support across the company, proactively solving day-to-day technical issues
Coordinating and managing information security initiatives, supporting native's progression towards Cyber Essentials Plus certification and future ISO accreditation
Delivering clear and practical reporting and analysis to inform operational decisions
Managing relationships with software and IT vendors, conducting software procurement and evaluations
Mentoring, training, and supporting a growing team
What we're looking for:
We never stand still, and so we value clarity of thought, good judgement under pressure, and the ability to create structure where none exists. Specifically, for this role we'd expect to see the following:
A practical, hands-on professional who enjoys solving operational challenges directly
Someone comfortable working within ambiguity and change, and capable of managing team growth and fluctuations during busy periods
A collaborative individual who builds strong relationships internally and externally
Someone proactive, who can balance daily tasks with the delivery of key business projects such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO accreditation
Required skills & experience
We are committed to lifting everyone up. We seek to enable people's best work by optimising for freedom with accountability. You'll get the most out of this role, if you can bring:
Extensive Salesforce experience (Salesforce Admin certification or equivalent preferred)
Hands-on experience administering HubSpot, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365
Familiarity with information security management, ideally with experience or knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO certification processes. Relevant certifications are advantageous but not required
Experience managing small teams, ideally within IT support or revenue operations
Strong communication skills, able to clearly translate technical concepts for colleagues at all levels
What's in it for you:
