We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable information technology sales associate
to promote and sell our IT solutions. In this role, your duties will include familiarizing
yourself with the technical specifications of our products, assessing clients' IT needs and
demonstrating our IT solutions to potential clients.
To ensure success as an information technology sales associate, you should exhibit extensive sales experience in an IT solutions environment, as well as in-depth knowledge of IT industry trends. Information technology sales associates ensure that their IT sales expertise translates to increased sales revenue.
Roles& Responsibilities:
1. Client Needs Assessment:
? Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to comprehend their specific IT
requirements.
? Analyze existing systems, processes, and challenges to identify opportunities for
improvement.
2. Solution Development:
? Collaborate with the technical/HR team to design customized solutions that align
with client needs.
? Propose a comprehensive and feasible plan to address identified challenges and
enhance overall efficiency.
3. Proposal Creation:
? Create detailed and persuasive proposals outlining the proposed IT solutions.
? Clearly articulate the benefits, costs, and implementation timelines of the proposed
solutions.
4. Presentation and Communication:
? Deliver engaging presentations to clients, effectively conveying the proposed
solutions.
? Address client questions and concerns, ensuring a clear understanding of the
proposed IT strategy.
5. Technical Knowledge:
? Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
? Provide expert advice to clients on how emerging technologies can benefit their
business.
6. Negotiation and Relationship Building:
? Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements to achieve a mutually
beneficial arrangement.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence in
the proposed solutions.
7. Closing Deals:
? Work towards securing signed agreements by actively following up with clients.
? Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to finalize contract terms and
conditions.
8. Post-sales Support:
? Transition smoothly to the implementation phase by facilitating communication
between clients and the project delivery team.
? Ensure client satisfaction and address any post-sales concerns, maintaining a positive
long-term relationship.
9. Market Intelligence:
? Gather and analyse information about competitors and market trends to position
the company's offerings effectively.
A successful pre-sales leader combines technical acumen with excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to navigate the complexities of understanding client needs and closing
deals effectively.
Requirements:
? A bachelor's or associate's degree in marketing, or a similar qualification.
? 3-5 years' experience in an IT sales environment.
? Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies.
? Ability to explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities.
? Advanced proficiency in IT industry terminology and jargon.
? Ability to liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies.
? Exceptional ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements.
? In-depth knowledge of IT Managed Services and IT Infrastructure.

Pay: 65,000.00-70,000.00 per year
