Job Title: IT Security Analyst

Salary: \xc2\xa340,000 to \xc2\xa350,000 (based on candidate experience) + company benefits

Job Type: Permanent (full time)

Hybrid Model: 3 days per week in Caerphilly, 2 days remote

About the Client and Role:

My client, a respected, internationally operating financial services company, requires a Security Analyst professional to join their security team based in Caerphilly on a permanent basis. The candidate will apply their experience and expertise of Security Analytics to help assess, maintain and improve the company\'s security functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing regular emerging threat analysis and reporting the outcomes
• Monitor the computer networks/systems for security issues using various tools and methodologies
• Perform Business Impact and Threat risk analysis
• Assist with the creation, implementation and enforcement of Corporate IT Security Policies and Procedures
• Manage detected vulnerabilities through to resolution to maintain a high-security standard
• Participate in the update, maintenance and testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes
• Produce reporting and dashboards illustrating security posture, security activities and highlighting gaps in IT security
• Contribute to the management and maintenance of the ISO27001, PCI-DSS and other relevant certifications

Essential Candidate Skills:

• Previous experience and professional knowledge of security analysis
• Related education background or certification (eg CEH, OSCP, GCIH, GDAT, GCIA, GCDA, GCFA, GREM)
