About The Role
Job Purpose
To oversee our IT infrastructure and systems, focusing on information security and ERP system oversight.
The IT & Security Manager will provide hands-on experience managing and supporting manufacturing platforms (e.g., ERP, printing solutions, factory floor terminals and machine shop hardware, warehouse scanning solutions).
Main Duties
Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure (servers, networks, endpoints, cloud systems).
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of cybersecurity strategies and policies.
Coordinate security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
Ensure data protection, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
Provide oversight for the ERP system; liaise with vendors and internal users to ensure system stability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand IT needs and deliver technology solutions.
Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
Lead and develop a small team of IT support and systems staff.
Maintain confidentiality of all information at all times
Provide leadership, support, and direction to the site-based team
Ensure clear communications across all stakeholders both internal and external
Any other duties as requested by the manager or any member of the management team
Successful Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years focused on IT security.
Proven experience in managing firewalls, antivirus, SIEM tools, and access control systems.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Navision, Epicor, or similar), including user support or minor configuration responsibilities.
Knowledge of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
