: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (37.5 hours/week, 100% onsite)

Pay Rate

: 17.13 per hour + holiday pay =>> 19.54 per hour

About the Role:



Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced

IT Service Desk Technician

to provide essential 1st and 2nd line technical support for a range of IT systems and applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive IT team and play a key role in delivering top-notch service to healthcare professionals across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues remotely or on-site. Manage and log service requests and incidents using call management software. Support NHS-specific applications, including Adastra, System One, and Cerner Millennium. Work with 3rd line support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. Participate in out-of-hours on-call support when required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:



Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office applications. Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting and maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for occasional site visits. ITIL Foundation certification (desirable).
