Ref: HF 23135 Location: Borehamwood, Herts with the opportunity for hybrid working for part of the week. Contract: Permanent - 37.5 Hours per week Salary: \xc2\xa328,000 - \xc2\xa330,000 Job brief: Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring business as usual activities can take place through effective logging, fixing and escalation of all support tickets that are logged with the IT Department. In addition to this, you will be required to set up and remove user accounts, install, and configure software and hardware and manage the printers across the business. You will have strong communication and customer service skills as well as a confident desk side support style. You will be proficient in using remote support tools and supporting a broad user base. The Role:

  • Provide effective support on all 1st and 2nd Line requests via Ticketing System and Telephone
  • Ensure all incidents are closed within SLAs
  • Provide outstanding customer service both written and verbal
  • Provide support for both Incident and Service Requests
  • Providing onsite and remote support to all functions and areas of the business Organise and prioritise ticket
  • log and new incoming requests
  • Acting as a first line support on all hardware and software support calls.
  • Application support for key business applications
  • Allocation of Helpdesk support calls and management of Helpdesk software.
  • Escalation of calls to IT Support Manager or external MSP and/or third-party providers.
  • Installation and configuration of desktop and laptop computers.
  • Manage the onboarding of new users and the offboarding of users using checklists. Ensuring asset register is kept up to date
  • Provide desktop support and relocations.
  • Responsible for testing and deploying of new hardware.
  • Printer management \xe2\x80\x93 Order and replace toners, arrange engineer visits as required.
  • Documenting IT processes and procedures
About you: The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
  • Good verbal and face-to-face communication.
  • IT competent and be familiar with the Microsoft Windows desktop environment and applications (including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel). Office 365 Admin centre.
  • Experience using Azure, Intune, and Endpoint
  • iOS and Android mobile device support including iPads
  • Minimum 2 years IT Helpdesk experience
  • Telephone System programming / Administration
  • The ability to work on own initiative and be flexible.
  • To be able to work efficiently and accurately.
  • Must have driving license and be prepared to travel to our country houses\xe2\x80\x93 may involve overnight stays
