The Vacancy
WGM have a requirement for an IT Support Analyst to help bolster the existing IT & Digital Services team and provide additional IT service support provision across the business and will be based within our Glasgow head office on a hybrid working basis. The purpose of this role is to join a growing IT Team, helping deliver excellent IT Service to our customers. We are looking for someone to join the team with a can-do approach, technical experience, and exemplary customer service skills
Main duties and responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line support to all staff across all WGM locations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues (including escalations from 1st Line)
  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365 environments, including user management (Azure AD), Device Management (Endpoint Manager / Intune), Cloud Based Server Infrastructure (Azure), Endpoint Security & Compliance (Defender).
  • Supporting collaboration tools such as MS Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Strong knowledge of networking - LAN / WAN / WLAN (experience with Meraki desirable)
  • Working knowledge of backup technologies (Azure / Veeam desirable)
  • Ability to introduce efficiencies through automation & scripting (PowerShell)
  • Managing Service Desk tickets through ITSM tools
  • Support the Infrastructure team in delivering IT Projects.
  • End User troubleshooting leading to fault resolution.
  • Build relationships with WGM Stakeholders and maintain excellent customer service throughout.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar IT position, you will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of team. The ideal candidate will have experience of configuring and managing a Microsoft 365 environment including User Management and device Management.
