Please note this is a level 3 apprenticeship opportunity. This means we cannot accept anyone with an IT related qualification that is equivalent to level 3 or higher, or anyone who already has extensive experience in an IT related role.

IT Support Apprentice

Salary:

From 7.55 per hour

Hours:

Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5pm with an hour lunch break

Key responsibilities

Logging of service desk tickets into our helpdesk system Building and preparing machines before they are sent out to clients Creation of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports using PowerShell and other tools. Fault finding desktop, laptop and servers at both a hardware and operating system level Helping our clients with their IT problems via email, telephone and remote-control tools Office 365 and Active Directory user and systems management Installation, configuration and maintenance of various cloud systems such as anti-spam, firewall, DNS and email services.

We want to develop and maintain our apprentices with the business. At the end of the apprenticeship there will be the opportunity for your role to become permanent within the business and to play a key role to its continued success.

Next Steps

The successful candidate will undertake a ICT Technician Level 3 apprenticeship with full training and support provided by Althaus Digital.
