The Role


We are looking for a motivated and proactive

IT Support Associate Apprentice

to join our growing IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to start or progress their career in IT support and communications technology. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals, helping to ensure our systems, networks, and users run smoothly and securely in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities



IT Support & User Assistance



Provide first-line support for IT systems, applications, and devices. Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Support user account management, including permissions and access.

Network & Systems Maintenance



Assist with maintaining networks, servers, and communication systems. Support updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure system security and performance. Help keep accurate records of IT assets and system configurations.

Communications Systems Support



Assist with the installation, maintenance, and support of communication technologies, such as VoIP, email, and collaboration tools. Monitor system performance and report issues to ensure reliable service.

Security & Compliance



Follow IT security policies and procedures to protect systems and data. Support routine audits, compliance checks, and IT documentation. Keep up to date with emerging IT tools, technologies, and best practices.

Training & Awareness



Support colleagues in using IT and communication systems effectively. Contribute to user guides and training materials. Promote good IT practices and awareness across the organisation.

About You



Passionate about IT with a desire to develop technical and communication skills. Strong attention to detail with a logical and problem-solving mindset. Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with IT systems and digital tools, and keen to learn new technologies. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
