On-Site IT Support Engineer

Based in Livingston, West Lothian

26,500 starting salary | Company Car (EV) | Company Mobile | Pension Scheme

IT Support Engineer

Key Skills (Required):

Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (7,8,8.1,10);

Installation and configuration;

Maintenance and fault finding;

Network Infrastructure;

TCP/IP;

DNS, DHCP, SMTP, Routing;

Firewall, UTM;

Maintenance, monitoring and fault finding;

Fault diagnosis and resolution;

Security Software (Anti-Virus / Malware);

Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365;

Remote Support Technologies;

Smart Devices (Android, iOS, RIM);

Trustworthy, reliable & accountable;

Presentable, neat and with an eye for detail;

Good communicator and able to converse at all levels in both a technical and non-technical way;

Able to think laterally and out of the box;

Good team player.

Key Skills (Desirable):

Configuration and Management of Virtualised Server Environments;

Azure AD Experience

Remote Desktop Services & Thin Client Technologies.

Candidates MUST live within 30 miles of Livingston and have a full UK driving licence (Car).

In order to prove their technical abilities and knowledge, candidates invited to interview will also be expected to demonstrate their technical skills via verbal reasoning questions.

Working hours are 09:00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday however some out-of-hours cover, weekend migrations and travel will be required.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo security and financial screening due to the nature of our customer's regulated business. Successful passing of this screening will be a condition of any job offer.

The package:

26,500 per annum (DoE) Company Car Company Mobile Pension Scheme
You must have a valid driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK.
