Location: Belfast, hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Contract: Temporary, full-time (37.5 hours pw, typically Mon-Fri / 8-9 hour shifts between 12noon and 11pm)
OverviewOur client within the private sector is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide technical support to their end users, all focused on their products and services. This is a large multi-national and your day-to-day would involve network and systems support via telephone (helpdesk), emails, ticket systems etc.*Due to their end user demand, hours of work will fall between 12noon and 11pm.*This is a large organisation with plenty of progression opportunities, so they are looking to hire for the long term with desire to secure a permanent position.Requirements
IT Degree or similar
Strong technical support / helpdesk experience
Network / NOC experience would be good to have
Systems admin/engineering experience would be good to have
Strong customer service skills, positive morale, team player
What you'll do as an IT Support Engineer
Provide technical support via telephone, emails, ticket response to end users including product users/customers/business representatives
Work at a fast pace to ensure issues resolved efficiently and effectively
Collaborate with the team to ensure SLAs are met
Be proactive in learning and developing new technologies
Adhere to company policies and procedures with particular attention to Cyber Security.
