Providing support to end users for IT incidents
Interacting with various parties such as network services, infrastructure, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.
Developing and maintaining information architectures (data, application, network) ensuring the system is on-line daily.
Providing hardware and software support and solutions to end users on desktop and laptop problems
Providing support on all corporate platforms/applications during establishment and to end users after online
Ensuring uptime of all desktop systems in line with any SLAs
Providing regular progress reports to management
Ensuring assigned working tasks are kept up to date and that support issues are resolved in a timely manner
Ensuring sufficient monitoring and alerting is in place for all relevant desktop systems
Keeping asset management systems up to date at all times
Providing network infrastructure and security establishment at corporate level/ in new working site
Qualifications:
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
At least five years hands-on technical support experience in Windows Server and VMware environment
Candidates with less experience may consider the IT Officer position.
Hands-on experience in supporting VPN and remote desktop user in a corporate network environment
Familiar with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
Knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft 365 and Azure
Knowledge in enterprise ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching and IP addressing is an advantage
* Knowledge in Security Product, such as FortiGate, SonicWall and Firepower
