Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer - On-Site to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware, software, and network systems within our office environment. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues, as well as managing user accounts, permissions, and security across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to prioritize and resolve multiple incidents efficiently.
Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and applications, providing prompt support to users both in person and via phone or email, and assisting with the setup of AV equipment and meeting room technology. You will perform system upgrades and updates, monitor network performance, and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party vendors as necessary. Maintaining accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and asset inventory will be a crucial part of your daily tasks. You will also participate in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring that new hires and departing employees have the appropriate access and equipment.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar capacity, with a solid understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, Office 365, and basic networking concepts. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with staff at all levels. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco credentials are a plus. The ability to lift and move equipment, and a willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours for system maintenance or emergencies, are also required.
