IT Support Engineer, 30k+ depending on experience

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers a balance of remote and on-site work, with a strong focus on networking and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to clients, manage tickets and resolve technical issues.

Conduct on-site visits for installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Configure and manage firewalls and security appliances (e.g. Fortigate, Barracuda).

Administer Microsoft 365 and Intune environments.

Set up new client systems, including network configuration and DNS records.

Contribute to internal documentation and Cyber Essentials projects.

Share knowledge with junior team members and collaborate with peers.

You'll definitely need:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support, a strong understanding of Windows

troubleshooting, networking fundamentals and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune.

Bonus points for:

Experience with Cyber Essentials or similar security frameworks.

Familiarity with DNS and web hosting environments.

Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.

Relevant certifications (e.g., MS-900, SC-900, Network+).

Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.

Other Considerations

You'll need a driving license to occasionally drive to client sites. If peak workload you may be required to work extra hours, with notice. Office based, working pattern to be agreed Monday to Friday between 9:00am - 5:30pm.
