THE ROLE



You'll play a key part in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, supporting a wide range of technologies, and helping colleagues stay productive and connected. If you flourish on solving problems and want to make a real impact, this role is for you

THE PERSON



You'll be working as the sole IT support presence in a busy office, backed by a remote team for additional support. To succeed, you'll need to be:

A great communicator - with strong listening skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues. Key Responsibilities



Providing first line helpdesk support for Holstein UK and its affiliates. Maintain and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, WIFI and VPN connectivity. Liaising with network support companies as required. Configure and maintain (including minor repair) desktops, laptops, printers, telephony and AV equipment. Deploying & fully maintaining Microsoft 365 Office applications and proprietary software. Responsibility for network equipment, including firewalls and routers and managed switches. Monitoring of infrastructure using remote management and security tools. Manage user accounts, logins, and security profiles. Order new equipment and manage supplier relationships. Keep accurate documentation of work completed (tickets, logs and internal processes)

Qualifications & Experience



At least 1 years IT support experience. Familiarity with common enterprise tools (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS). Demonstratable experience of a wide range of software products. SQL SSMS experience (not essential).
Role is full time, office based in

Telford, Shropshire

, 5 days per week, 9.00am - 5.00pm, one hour lunch break

Closing Date: Friday 9th January 2026

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 28,500.00 per year
