The Royal Aeronautical Society is a not-for-profit membership organisation supporting aerospace, aviation and space professionals around the world. The role
This is a part time role (3 days/21hrs per week) and as the IT Support Officer you will work with our Managed Services Partner to ensure the secure and stable provision of IT, technology and digital services and operations, and supporting staff to perform their duties.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support line managers with IT requirements for all new and existing staff including set up of accounts, licencing, software and hardware
Liaise with external IT Support Partner to configure devices for staff members
Order and distribute devices and other hardware for staff members (for in office and remote working)
Ensure that all staff understand how and when to interact with partner support teams/helpdesks.
Act as liaison for IT software and support partners, including infrastructure, cyber security, CRM database and website, and responsible for escalating issues when necessary
Liaise with external IT Support Partner(s) to maintain Cyber Essentials Plus certification
Liaise with external IT Support Partner on adhering to cyber security processes and testing
Support review and implementation of IT and Security Policies
Technical support & training for hybrid meeting and other office equipment
Recording Asset Management
Support CRM & Data Product Owner to administer the database and ensure the teams and business processes obtain maximum value to deliver objectives
Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Azure and capable of managing hardware and software requirements. We are looking for proactive, motivated and problem-solving individuals who are keen to be a team player and succeed in a busy and varied role.
Salary: 28-33k pro rata
