An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced, confident and ambitious IT support specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for all end-user support for our two Evesham based sites. Alongside the guidance of IT Heads of Departments, you will be the first line of contact for all on-site IT support and contribute to the overall general responsibilities of the IT team.

Job Role



End user IT support, including computer equipment trouble shooting, fault diagnosis and resolution. End user support, including software and operating troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and resolution. Network hardware troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and resolution. Network printer troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and resolution. End user laptop and PC configurations. New user accounts, desk and equipment set up including PC, printers, landline, mobile phones. Liaise with and carry out any other tasks required by the line manager.

Skills and experience



Minimum 2-3 years experience in 2nd line IT support (required). 3rd line IT support (advantageous). Degree or industry led qualification (required). Knowledge and experience in Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Entra, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams. Knowledge and experience in Server OS 2008 R2 to 2022. Knowledge and experience in backup technologies including Acronis Cyber Protect, Veeam, Hyper-V.

Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment whilst demonstrating high-level accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times. Able to communicate effectively. Flexible, positive and outgoing approach to work. Communicate effectively and the ability to work on their own initiative. Follow and adhere to all parts of the staff handbook.
Duties may change from time to time in accordance with the changing needs of the company. You will be expected to carry such duties out as normal. If there is any significant change, this will be discussed and agreed with you and may be included in a revised edition of the , otherwise more minor changes may be discussed with you at the time of your performance review. If there are any other changes to employment terms and conditions, such as changes to pay or hours, then these will be notified in writing.
