Job Description
IT Support Technician (Immediately available candidates only)
13 per hour
5 days onsite in Northamptonshire
6 month contract
Join a fast-paced, hands-on IT team where no two days are the same. We're looking for an adaptable and proactive technician to provide first-line support and assist with infrastructure, hardware, and systems management. You'll work closely with the ICT Manager and development team to keep our tech running smoothly and support ongoing projects.
Must haves for the role:
- Proven experience in 1st line IT support
- Strong troubleshooting skills (remote and in-person)
- Familiarity with helpdesk systems and ticketing workflows
- Ability to manage user accounts, profiles, and logins
- Experience with stock control and asset management
- Understanding of network infrastructure and telephony systems
- Knowledge of mobile device management
- Exposure to traffic management systems (e.g., Mandata) is a plus
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
