Overview:
We are seeking IT Support Assistant who is passionate about IT to join our growing team, providing friendly technical assistance and support to our clients via email, telephone, and on-site as needed. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a wide range of IT systems for our diverse and expanding client base. We recommend applicants have experience in IT support with the below skills:
Microsoft 365 admin centre
Windows 10/11 Operating system
Customer Service (telephone, emails etc)
helpdesk/ticketing systems (for logging support requests)
Key Duties:
- Provide friendly 1st line technical support to clients (end-users) on various IT issues and incidents via telephone & email.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems in a logical manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware.
- Correct Deployment of New Equipment (Laptops/Desktops) into clients environments.
- Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner, while also maintaining good communication with the client, providing a follow up email to all completed work.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
- Assist in the implementation of larger IT projects and upgrades.
- Ability to effectively manage workload.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to a car for client site visits.
- Good customer service and telephone manner.
- Attention to detail
- Efficient general computer skills.
- Familiarity with Windows operating system along with common applications (MS Office suite, Chrome and Edge)
