It Systems Administrator

United Kingdom, United Kingdom

Job Description

:
This is a remote position.
Are You the Tech Titan We've Been Searching For?
Do you dream in code and think in logic? Are you the unsung hero keeping systems humming while others panic about "why it's not working"? Well, it's time to step into the spotlight -- because Classroom Secrets is calling!
We're looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team and keep our tech universe running smoothly. This isn't just about fixing things; it's about transforming the way we work and powering innovation across our business.
Who We're Looking For

  • The Systems Maestro - You know your Office 365 from your Zoho One, and you're happiest when your dashboards are as neat as your setup.
  • The Project Powerhouse - You don't just maintain systems; you build, integrate, automate, and innovate. You see inefficiency and think, "Challenge accepted."
  • The Troubleshooting Wizard - You don't just solve problems; you hunt them down, root cause and all, faster than you can say "system reboot."
  • The Communicator Extraordinaire - You can explain complex tech stuff in plain English (and maybe even get a laugh while doing it).
  • The Digital Transformer - You're passionate about using tech to make work life better -- simpler, faster, smarter.
What You'll Be Doing (aka Your Tech Quest)
  • Be the guardian of our systems, keeping Office 365 and Zoho One running like a dream.
  • Build reports and dashboards that turn data into decisions and numbers into narratives.
  • Lead and contribute to IT projects -- from new software rollouts to process automations and integrations.
  • Support digital transformation across the business by spotting opportunities for automation and smarter workflows.
  • Resolve IT issues like a pro -- triage, troubleshoot, and escalate when needed (cape optional).
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to craft innovative tech solutions that actually make sense.
  • Handle user setups, permissions, testing, disaster recovery, and maintenance like the meticulous IT maestro you are.
  • Pitch in on ad hoc projects that keep Classroom Secrets' digital world spinning perfectly.
Requirements
The Must-Haves
  • Proven experience in IT administration or support.
  • Confident troubleshooting and resolving tech issues.
  • Solid knowledge of Office 365 and Zoho One (or similar systems).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the laptop.
  • A good understanding of IT security best practice.
  • A curious mind and a flexible, proactive approach to learning new technologies.
Benefits
Why Join Us?
At Classroom Secrets, everyone makes a difference -- no capes required (though optional if that's your vibe). Every role counts in our mission to become the most trusted educational resource provider for teachers, schools, parents, and tutors around the world. When you join us, you're not just another cog in the system -- you're part of something that really matters.
Here's what's waiting for you when you join our crew:
  • A friendly, flexible environment - where collaboration isn't just encouraged, it's second nature. Our team genuinely wants to see you succeed, and someone's always there to lend a hand (or a troubleshooting tip).
  • Work your way - fully remote, office-based, or hybrid... it's your choice! You'll just need a laptop, good Wi-Fi, and your favourite mug. Occasionally, you might pop to the office or a co-working space, but we'll always give you plenty of notice.
  • A warm welcome - your onboarding journey includes a supportive buddy who'll help you settle in faster than your first coffee of the day.
  • A role you can make your own - no two days are the same, and you'll have the freedom to shape how you work and make a genuine impact.
  • Wellbeing that works - our dedicated Wellbeing Committee focuses on the five pillars of wellness (Social, Mental Health, Physical, Learn, and Environment). Because a happy team is a powerful team.
  • Extra time for you - enjoy generous holidays plus the option to buy up to 15 extra days off (pro rata for part time). Binge-watch, adventure, or just rest - we don't judge.
  • Your voice matters - one-to-ones with our Directors mean you can share ideas, feedback, or even pitch your next big project.
  • A dedicated Personal Development Hour every week.
  • In-house mentoring programme with our experienced leaders.
  • Training and development that helps you level up your skills and confidence.
We've got the practical stuff covered too:
  • Contributory pension scheme - so future-you will thank present-you.
  • 6-month supported probation - it's all about setting you up for success, not stress.
  • Regular company away days - because bonding over pizza beats bonding over printers.
