About Our Opportunity





We're looking for an IT Systems Engineer to play a key role in supporting and strengthening our global technology landscape. Based at our Warrington Head Office, you'll be part of a high-performing IT team responsible for delivering resilient, secure, and efficient systems that underpin operations across more than 175 locations worldwide.


What You'll Be Doing





As an IT Systems Engineer, you will:


Provide high-level technical support and contribute to major infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Ensure high availability and performance of servers, storage, and virtualisation platforms. Support the delivery and implementation of new IT initiatives, contributing your technical expertise to successful project outcomes. Manage and enhance core datacentre services, ensuring stability, compliance, and continual improvement. Administer Microsoft 365 solutions-including SharePoint, Intune, Teams, Exchange-and perform regular operational health checks with a focus on security, reliability, and optimisation. Support the development of new processes, policies, and procedures that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.



About You





You'll bring a strong technical foundation and a proactive, solution-driven mindset, including:


Relevant Experience in 2nd/3rd line infrastructure roles. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure services. Solid hands-on experience with core on-premises server technologies. Understanding of infrastructure tools and platforms, ideally including VMware Enterprise products, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Veeam Backup & Replication, HPE server hardware, Fibre Channel SAN solutions, Scripting or automation tools
