IT Technical Solutions Associate

We have an opportunity for an IT Technical Solutions Associate to join their team of staff in the IT department.
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:

• Assist in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring solutions are secure, cost-effective and aligned with business needs.
• Provide technical documentation and contribute to the transition of new solutions into operational support.
• Act as a point of escalation for critical issues, offering 4th line support and triaging technical requests.
• Contribute to strategic planning and reviews of existing technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
• Produce clear technical documentation and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong relationships across IT teams and wider business stakeholders. On-call & Travel Requirements
• Participate in the on-call rota for urgent planned or unplanned support and attend national site visits as required.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• 2+ years' experience in IT operations or support within a large, multi-site organisation.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as networking, firewalls, servers, hosting, voice systems and cloud platforms.
• Experience with physical IT service infrastructure and confidence using hand tools for minor works.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A clean, full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Understanding of security, governance, and compliance within a healthcare or regulated environment is a plus.
