An exciting opportunity has arisen for somebody to join the day to day desktop IT services function across the college campuses. A successful applicant would join a college which has invested heavily in ICT in recent years, getting the opportunity to work with VDI technology, virtual infrastructure and state of the art I.T. facilities at digital centres across its campuses.

The primary focus of the role is to ensure that the day to day IT facilities are fit for purpose and fully functional, with all staff having the necessary systems to fulfil their role and therefore enhancing teaching and learning in the college.

The successful candidate will use their experience and their own initiative to prioritise tasks around the campuses using the college help desk system to ensure that tasks are completed quickly and thoroughly, maintaining I.T. use in the classroom.

You will use the college\'s asset register to maintain a record of all hardware changes, ensuring that accurate records are maintained with regard to ICT allocation and stock levels.

Communication, accurately recording information and feedback are areas which are paramount to this role, so it is important that the successful candidate feels comfortable working both independently and within a wider team. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly, productive, supportive and motivated team culture.
