About you




You will be responsible for delivering IT business applications transformation projects to time, cost and quality across the end-to-end of the project lifecycle. You will work with project stakeholders to establish a strong sense of strong business ownership for IT business applications and software development projects and drive organisational maturity in project management and benefit realisation. You will set up and manage an IT Project Management Office and enable reporting to the Executive's new Strategic Change Programme Board. You will play a key role providing assurance to senior stakeholders that spend on IT software and business applications is delivering return on investment. You will be strong at building relationships with internal customers, investing in their confidence in IT applications, always maintaining a strong focus on the customer, social impact and business performance.

Skills should include:



Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, AgilePM). Significant experience of working with project management methodologies to deliver IT business applications/software projects to time, cost and quality, manage risks and track benefits realisation. Significant experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams and projects, creating change in business processes, IT business applications, ways of working and data management. Experience managing a PMO or similar governance function and supporting senior stakeholders to run a change board.
