Are you looking to start your IT career within a rewarding and supportive company?

You will work full time within our Technical Support Team with your priorities being

Provision and configure IT hardware for deployment to customers. Diagnose and repair a wide range of hardware issues. Prepare devices with required software and configurations. Collaborate with the wider technical team to ensure smooth delivery of services. Maintain a clean and organised workbench environment.
This posting is for our Hull office with access to public transport links with various bus stops close by should you require these. On-site parking is available.

Desired Skills

:

Hardware Provisioning & Configuration



Assemble and configure PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices according to client requirements. Install operating systems, drivers, and essential software packages. Perform BIOS updates and firmware configurations.

Hardware Repairs & Maintenance



Diagnose and repair faults in desktops, laptops, and other IT hardware. Replace defective components such as motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, and power supplies. Conduct routine maintenance checks and performance testing.

Upgrades & Enhancements



Perform hardware upgrades including RAM, storage, graphics cards, and other components. Recommend upgrade paths based on client needs and hardware lifecycle.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of all workbench activities, including build logs and repair reports. Update asset management systems with hardware status and configuration details.

Collaboration & Support



Work closely with provisioning and field support teams to ensure seamless deployment. Provide technical input during project planning and client onboarding.
