Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain quality standards Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling costs effectively

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment Strong background in food production and preparation techniques Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff Proficient in cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence Knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service standards Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide the culinary team Understanding of food safety practices and regulations Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Ability to serve as a role model for staff by demonstrating professionalism and dedication
