Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food safety protocols and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary techniques Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality control Assist in the organisation of special events or banquets, ensuring customer satisfaction Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service and engaging with guests when necessary

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience is desirable, demonstrating leadership and team management skills Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety regulations Familiarity with food production processes and culinary techniques Experience in restaurant operations, including serving guests and managing kitchen workflows Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Previous experience in hospitality roles that involve leadership responsibilities will be considered an advantage

Pay: 12.21-27.72 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
