Job Description

We are an Italian importer of food and wine located in St Philips, Bristol. We supply restaurants and the catering industry with Italian food and wine all across the South West of England and South Wales.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who is confident and has a passion for Italian food and wine. This job would be best suited for someone who has been working in hospitality for a while and while you are enjoying it, you would like a more stable schedule - no more long hours, late nights or weekends. Our customers are mainly businesses who require a high level of care, and an excellent level of service. Familiarity with Italian food and drinks is a must.

The position entails a variety of duties, from processing orders, to problem solving, admin tasks and more. There is always something to do! For this reason we are looking for someone proactive, who is comfortable working either independently or as part of a team.

This position is onsite only, the candidate must be based in the UK and have right to work in the UK.

Full time hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. We are looking ideally for someone part time- 3 or 4 days per week. Full time salary is 25,000 per annum to begin with.

The role

Taking orders from customers over the phone, by email, or in person (when working on the trade counter) Answering customer queries about their order, or our product range Entering orders onto invoice system

The candidate

Excellent telephone/communicatio manner - this is extremely important Strong verbal and written communication skills Good IT understanding A passion for excellent customer service Knowledge of Italian language and/or food products Previous sales or customer service/hospitality experience would be desirable Social media (instagram, facebook) and ecommerce previous experience also highly desirable
