Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in various facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable, contributing to the overall satisfaction of both staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas that require attention or maintenance. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. Comply with on site rules and dress code

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness issues promptly. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and management. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving heavy items.
