Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Light maintenance duties Clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment issues. Follow established procedures for cleaning hazardous materials when required. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition. Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.

Skills

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is preferred. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
