Job Description
Role: JAVA Developer
Location: London
:
- Java developer should have expertise in Object-Oriented Programming/ concepts, System Architecture/ Design, Java Build tools, JVM- essential
- Experience in use of Java 8 essential as this is the target version but knowledge/ expertise in later versions is highly desirable
- Experience in use of Open JDK builds by AWS (Amazon Corretto) - desirable
- Experience moving business logic from Lotus Notes Domino to Java - desirable
- Experience in coding/ APIs into Google Angular
- PostgreSQL experience - desirable
- The apps are primarily built in Lotus Domino, by a 3 rd party who also manages them
- Aiming to transition to angular and java
- While both java and angular are needed, we can consider different people to do this
