Java Development Analyst *Fully Remote*

Role:

As a Java Development Analyst, you will work as part of a close-knit team to design technical solutions and develop code in accordance with the specification and requirements provided. You will perform technical design reviews and encourage adherence to I.S standards and best practises, as well as maintain and support system integrations across various platforms that communicate with the bespoke ERP system. Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Liaise with Manager/Senior Development Analyst to define and agree work terms of reference.
  • Analyse and design the solution in accordance with the standards in place at NSK.
  • Develop and test the code in accordance with the given requirements.
  • Produce appropriate and realistic estimates for the given tasks.
  • Be prepared to undertake code reviews with peers.
  • Assist in the evaluation and resolution of system faults raised by other departments to enable them to function effectively.
  • Perform and maintain the automated regression testing suite to ensure that the ERP system has not been impacted by any new development.
Your Profile:

Competencies:
  • Positive "can do" attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to proactively solve problems.
  • Ability to work autonomously on your own and as part of a team.
Technical skills:
  • 2 years+ experience with Java EE development.
  • Proven analytical ability and program design concepts.
  • Experience with relational database technologies e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
Desirables:
  • Knowledge of STRUTTS architecture
  • Experience with ERP development and integrations
Salary & Benefits:

The Java Development Analyst will receive a salary of circa \xc2\xa345,000, the opportunity to work fully remote, as well as a host of other benefits.
